Ingredients
  

  • 250 g pasta penne, fusilli, or rigatoni
  • 200 g block feta cheese
  • 2 cups cherry tomatoes
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt adjust to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon red chili flakes optional
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano or Italian seasoning
  • Fresh basil leaves for garnish

Instructions
 

Step 1: Preheat the Oven

  • Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).

Step 2: Prepare the Baking Dish

  • Add cherry tomatoes to the baking dish. Sprinkle minced garlic, salt, pepper, oregano, and chili flakes over them.

Step 3: Add the Feta

  • Place the block of feta cheese in the center of the dish. Drizzle olive oil generously over everything.

Step 4: Bake

  • Bake for 25–30 minutes until the tomatoes burst and the feta becomes soft and slightly golden.

Step 5: Cook the Pasta

  • While the feta and tomatoes are baking, cook the pasta in salted boiling water according to package instructions. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water before draining.

Step 6: Mash and Mix

  • Remove the baking dish from the oven. Use a spoon to mash the feta and tomatoes together into a creamy sauce.

Step 7: Combine with Pasta

  • Add the cooked pasta into the baking dish. Toss everything together, adding a splash of pasta water if needed to loosen the sauce.

Step 8: Garnish and Serve

  • Top with fresh basil and serve warm.
