Ingredients
  

  • 300 g pasta penne or rotini
  • 300 g kielbasa sausage sliced
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1 small onion finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 cup frozen peas optional

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
  • Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook sliced kielbasa until slightly browned. Remove and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, sauté onion until soft, then add garlic and cook for 1 minute.
  • Melt butter in the skillet, then stir in flour and cook for 1–2 minutes.
  • Gradually add milk and cream, stirring constantly to form a smooth sauce.
  • Add cheddar cheese and stir until melted and creamy.
  • Season with salt, pepper, paprika, and oregano.
  • Add cooked pasta, kielbasa, and peas into the sauce and mix well.
  • Transfer mixture to a greased baking dish.
  • Sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top.
  • Bake for 25–30 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  • Let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
