Ingredients
  

  • 2 large chicken breasts sliced in half lengthwise
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup basil pesto
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • Optional: cherry tomatoes or spinach

Instructions
 

Step 1: Prepare chicken

  • Season chicken with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.

Step 2: Sear chicken

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet and cook chicken for 5–6 minutes per side until golden. Remove and set aside.

Step 3: Sauté garlic

  • In the same pan, add garlic and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.

Step 4: Make sauce

  • Add chicken broth, heavy cream, and pesto. Stir well until smooth.

Step 5: Add cheese

  • Mix in Parmesan cheese and let the sauce thicken slightly.

Step 6: Return chicken

  • Place chicken back in the pan and coat with sauce.

Step 7: Simmer

  • Let everything simmer for 8–10 minutes until chicken is fully cooked.

Step 8: Serve

  • Serve warm with your favorite sides.
