Ingredients
  

For the Meatballs:

  • 1.5 lbs ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 onion finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

For the Gravy:

  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 packet brown gravy mix
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch optional, for thickening

Instructions
 

Step 1: Prepare meatballs

  • In a large bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, milk, onion, garlic, salt, and pepper. Form into small meatballs.

Step 2: Optional browning

  • Brown meatballs in a skillet for extra flavor, but this step is optional.

Step 3: Add to crockpot

  • Place meatballs in the crockpot.

Step 4: Make gravy

  • In a bowl, whisk together beef broth, gravy mix, Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, onion powder, and garlic powder.

Step 5: Combine

  • Pour gravy over meatballs, making sure they are well coated.

Step 6: Cook

  • Cover and cook on low for 5 hours or high for 3 hours.

Step 7: Thicken (optional)

  • If needed, mix cornstarch with water and stir in to thicken the gravy.

Step 8: Serve

  • Serve warm with your favorite side dishes.
