Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon taco seasoning
  • 1/2 cup water

For Assembly:

  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 4 small tortillas or cut pieces for sealing
  • 4 tostada shells
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup lettuce shredded
  • 1/2 cup tomatoes diced
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup nacho cheese sauce optional

Instructions
 

Step 1: Cook the Beef

  • In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until browned. Add taco seasoning and water, then simmer until thick and flavorful.

Step 2: Prepare Ingredients

  • Chop lettuce and tomatoes, and set all components ready for assembly.

Step 3: Start Layering

  • Place a large tortilla on a flat surface. Add a layer of seasoned beef in the center.

Step 4: Add Cheese and Crunch

  • Top with shredded cheese, then place a tostada shell on top.

Step 5: Add Fresh Layers

  • Spread sour cream over the tostada, then add lettuce and tomatoes.
