Ingredients
  

For the cake:

  • cups all-purpose flour
  • cups granulated sugar
  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup fresh strawberry puree
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt

  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 3 cups powdered sugar
  • ½ cup strawberry puree
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions
 

Step 1: Prepare strawberries

  • Blend fresh strawberries into a smooth puree. Set aside.

Step 2: Preheat and prepare pans

  • Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease and line your cake pans.

Step 3: Cream butter and sugar

  • In a bowl, beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

Step 4: Add eggs

  • Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.

Step 5: Mix dry ingredients

  • In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.

Step 6: Combine everything

  • Add dry ingredients gradually, alternating with milk. Stir in strawberry puree and vanilla.

Step 7: Bake

  • Pour batter into pans and bake for 25–30 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.

Step 8: Cool

  • Let cakes cool completely before frosting.

Step 9: Make frosting

  • Beat butter until smooth. Add powdered sugar, strawberry puree, and vanilla. Mix until creamy.
