Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup fresh figs chopped
  • 1 cup raspberries fresh or frozen
  • 1 orange peeled and chopped
  • 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger grated

Instructions
 

Step 1: Prepare the Fruit

  • Wash and chop the figs, peel and chop the orange, and measure the raspberries.

Step 2: Combine Ingredients

  • Add all the fruit into a large saucepan along with sugar, lemon juice, and grated ginger.

Step 3: Cook the Mixture

  • Place the saucepan over medium heat. Stir continuously as the sugar dissolves and the fruit begins to break down.

Step 4: Simmer

  • Reduce heat and let the mixture simmer for 20–25 minutes, stirring occasionally. The jam will thicken as it cooks.

Step 5: Blend (Optional)

  • For a smoother texture, lightly blend the jam using a blender or immersion blender.

Step 6: Check Consistency

  • Test the jam by placing a small amount on a cold plate. If it thickens, it’s ready.

Step 7: Store

  • Pour into sterilized jars and let cool completely before sealing.
