Ingredients
  

  • 500 g ground chicken
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1 small onion finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger grated
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup water chestnuts finely chopped
  • 2 green onions sliced
  • 1 head iceberg lettuce leaves separated

Instructions
 

  • Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Add chopped onion and cook until soft and fragrant.
  • Stir in garlic and ginger, cooking for about 1 minute.
  • Add ground chicken and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks.
  • In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, hoisin sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, sugar, and pepper.
  • Pour the sauce over the chicken mixture and stir well.
  • Add chopped water chestnuts and cook for another 2–3 minutes.
  • Stir in green onions and remove from heat.
  • Spoon the chicken mixture into lettuce leaves.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy.
