Ingredients
  

  • 250 g pasta penne or fettuccine
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup sun-dried tomatoes chopped
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ teaspoon chili flakes optional
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • ¼ cup fresh basil chopped

Instructions
 

Step 1: Cook pasta

  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook pasta according to package instructions. Reserve ½ cup pasta water, then drain.

Step 2: Sauté garlic

  • In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic and cook until fragrant.

Step 3: Add sun-dried tomatoes

  • Stir in chopped sun-dried tomatoes and cook for 2–3 minutes.

Step 4: Make sauce

  • Pour in heavy cream and let it simmer gently. Add Parmesan cheese and stir until melted.

Step 5: Season

  • Add chili flakes, salt, and pepper. Adjust to taste.

Step 6: Combine pasta

  • Add cooked pasta to the sauce. Toss well, adding reserved pasta water if needed.

Step 7: Garnish and serve

  • Top with fresh basil and extra Parmesan. Serve warm.
