Ingredients
  

For the Rolls:

  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup warm milk
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 ¼ teaspoons active dry yeast 1 packet
  • 1 egg
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1 teaspoon salt

For the Honey Cinnamon Butter:

  • ½ cup unsalted butter softened
  • ¼ cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions
 

Step 1: Activate the yeast

  • In a bowl, combine warm milk and sugar. Sprinkle yeast over the top and let it sit for 5–10 minutes until foamy.

Step 2: Make the dough

  • Add egg, melted butter, and salt. Gradually mix in flour until a soft dough forms.

Step 3: Knead the dough

  • Knead for about 8–10 minutes until smooth and elastic.

Step 4: First rise

  • Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.

Step 5: Shape the rolls

  • Roll out the dough and cut into rectangles or squares.

Step 6: Second rise

  • Place on a baking sheet, cover, and let rise for another 30 minutes.

Step 7: Bake

  • Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 12–15 minutes until golden brown.

Step 8: Prepare the butter

  • Mix softened butter, powdered sugar, honey, and cinnamon until smooth.

Step 9: Serve

  • Serve rolls warm with honey cinnamon butter.
